Listening, Taking Risks, & Finding Your Voice

Happy Friday, Friends!

Last week we shared with you that we had a lovely, open, honest, vulnerable, and authentic conversation with Jillian DuBois (@JillDuBois22) . She has been participating in our #LeadLAP #GritCrewEDU chats since the beginning, so we invited her to chat with us about her journey, her growth, and the action she is taking to become antiracist. It is a beautiful conversation, and you might have seen it on social media, but we also wanted to share it with you here. We invite you to watch the video, reflect on your own journey and reach out to connect with Jillian – she has a huge heart and is committed to this work..

Last week’s chat was based on some of the themes that emerged during our conversation – you can find the  archive of that chat  here: 8/8/20 #LeadLAP Wakelet.

There is so much goodness in this conversation, that we decided to use it once again for this week’s chat inspiration.  You can see the questions below, and we hope you’ll join us as we continue to build antiracist schools and classrooms.
